Assessment of the School System

Purpose:

To assess the strengths and weaknesses of the school system.

Application:

Board, Director, Staff.

Definitions:

Area of responsibility means each department and school facility.

Policy:

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools evaluation instrument shall be used to assess the effectiveness and productivity of their areas of responsibility and develop an improvement plan.

1. The Director will present the summary and improvement lists to the Board;

2. The improvement plan shall become the goals for each department or school.

3. The improvement recommendations shall be considered when the budget is developed.
